Between the blades of grass, stay for a night.
Let dreams be gently woven, thread by thread, at Kusame Hitoyū.

We located in the heart of Lukang, a design guesthouse inspired by light, greenery, and dreams.
The property features 8 guest rooms, including double and quad rooms. Selected room types offer private gardens, glass atriums, semi-outdoor hinoki bathtubs, and rooftop gardens. Lukang Old Street, Mazu Temple, and other local attractions are all within walking distance.
We hope every traveler can slow down, rest well, and enjoy a peaceful stay while exploring the town.

Have you ever felt this way too?
Walking through certain paths,
trying many things,
yet still searching for a direction that truly feels like your own.
We have too.
Thus, "Kusame Hitoyū" was born.

The name comes from the deconstruction
of the character for “dream.”
The scent of grass and trees,
the gaze of two eyes,
and the pause of a single night’s stay.
Here, may you have a beautiful dream.
Kusame Hitoyū,
may it become a place where you can linger—
somewhere between dream and wakefulness.

Tshu-bīn (Locals)
In Taiwanese, “厝邊” (Tshu-bīn) means neighbors—people who live nearby and quietly look out for one another in everyday life, sharing a sense of warmth and care.
Lukang is exactly that kind of place. It invites you to slow down and wander at an easy pace, where the most captivating scenes are not only found in well-known attractions, but also hidden within alleyways and everyday life.
Here, you can explore Lukang’s landmarks, food, and distinctive corners—such as Lukang Old Street, Tianhou Temple, Longshan Temple, Guanyin Lane, and the iconic “Breast-Touching Lane.” Along the way, you can also enjoy local street food and time-honored shops, tasting the flavors of tradition. Between walking and pausing, you’ll experience the most authentic and gentle rhythm of this small town.
